Married at Garnavillo, October 31st, at the residence of the bride’s parents by the Rev. Benjamin A. Dean, Mr. Jabez Worley, of Motor, and Miss Hattie A. Smart, of Garnavillo

Such is life! The young folks will step off into matrimony – forsake home and friends to join a new idol. In the instance just related we happen to feel the liveliest of interest.

Miss Hattie is one of our most valued lay friends, and we cannot forego the pleasure of wishing for her the realization of all her fondest hopes.

Mr. Worley also has our congratulation. He certainly has a Smart chance for connubial felicity.

Long life and happiness to both!
