Married at the residence of the officiating magistrate in Sperry, by John J. Freeman, J. P., John H. Garretson and Miss Almeda S. Hait, both of Sperry, Clayton county, Iowa

May the happy twain experience none but life’s sweetest fidelities. May sorrow or care never darken their hearthstone; and may the both live to that ripe old age when their passion shall be fulfilled and contentment shall smooth their brows on their journey to eternity. Thus is a printer’s wish.
