Swan - Wright, marriage 1868

Married at Elkader, on the 7th of December, by J. W. Libby, J.P., Mr. Irwin Swan, and Miss M. Wright, both of Boardman Township.

Joy be with you says the printer. Our young friend Swan had done (W)right, and the happy bridegroom has caught the (W)right Swan. May they like their feathered namesakes float upon the bosom of time in the same jesty, peace and tranquility and when old age shall be upon them may there by many little Swans to keep them company on their voyage to eternity.
