Married in this Village, on the 24th of November, by R. C. Drips, J.P., Mr. Myron Peck, and Sarah Stafford, both of West Union, Fayette county.

O! Peck, you’re gone and no mistake,

To try life’s tugs and twitches,

Take my advice be wide awake,

And always wear the – b-b-boots.
