Married on the 20th of August, at the Elkader House, by Rev. C.M. Sessions, Mr. C. W. Grannis and Miss Betsey Boardman, all of Elkader.

The fair bride and happy bridegroom have our vest wishes in return for the bountiful supply of rich cake received at this office. May every human happiness attend them through life:

“May Heaven crown their nuptial joys,

With handsome girls and active boys.”
