William A. Kuehl and Bernice L. Wendt were married at the Emanuel Lutheran church at Elkport, Saturday evening, at 6:30. Rev. Buesing officiated. The bride is the daughter of Henry Wendt of Garnavillo, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Kuehl. He is the station agent of the Standard Oil Co. at Garber. The newlyweds will make their home at Garber.

Miss Bernice Wendt, daughter of Henry C. Wendt of Sauk Rapids, Minn., became the bride of William A. Kuehl, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kuehl, of Elkport, Iowa, at the Elkport Lutheran church, Saturday. The Rev. H. L. Buesing officiated. Mrs. H. L. Buesing played the wedding march and accompanied Raymond, Ralph, Laverne, and Marvin Kuehl, brothers of the groom, who sang "I Love You Truely." Miss Dorothy Kickbush, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid. Elmer Kuehl, brother of the groom, served as best man. The bride has been employed at the Clayton county home for the past four years, and the groom is an agent for the Standard Oil Co., at Garber, where the couple will make their home.
