ANOTHER SURPRISE
One of those never-to-be-forgotten events occurred at our home Wednesday evening, March 31st. It being the fifth anniversary of our wedding day. Hearing a gentle tap at the door, we opened, and to our great surprise one after another of our friends and relatives came in, until our little house was filled to overflowing. After a measure of quiet was restored Mr. C. B. Roe in behalf of our friends, presented us a beautiful couch and numerous other articles. Then the well filled baskets did ample justice to 73 hungry persons. After enjoying themselves as best they could, each took their departure for their respective homes. To each we extended our heartfelt thanks and wish them a happy future.
