MARRIED
At the M.E. Parsonage, in Waterloo IA, Jan. 29th, 1885 by Rev. J. G. VanNess, Mr. George Benson and Miss Eva Waite. The two most interested parties in this fitting wedding are well known to the people of this vicinity. Miss Waite, now Mrs. Benson, is really a Strawberry Point lady though having lived for some years with one of this city’s former pastors. She is a young lady of worth and full of energy and house wifely skill, and will make an excellent companion and home for him whose bride she is. Mr. Benson is an honest industrious young farmer and fitted to make his way in the world. They start out together in life’s journey not only with best wishes of Waterloo friends who gathered to see the knot tied, but of hosts of friends here.
