On Sunday Mrs. Harriet Dunsmoor was honor guest at a picnic, when sixty relatives and friends met at Backbone State park. Mrs. Dunsmoor, who was 90 years of age Saturday, enjoyed having four of her five daughters with her at the celebration: Mrs. Bertha Dunsmoor, Mrs. Ida Gruman, Mrs. Louise Wells and Mrs. Mabel Rogers. Another daughter, Mrs. Grace Smith, of National City, Calif., was unable to be present. A feature of the dinner was two birthday cakes, one especially attractive, was decorated with ninety rosebuds, each centered with a tiny candle. Present for the occasion were:
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dunsmoor, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schneider and son, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sargeant and family, all of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ida Gruman, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gruman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Sheldon and family, all of Lamont. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wells and sons of Prairieburg; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rogers and daughters of La Crosse, Wis.; Mrs. R. W. Hahn and sons, Mason City; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sage and sons of Fairfax; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gamm and family of Arlington; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rolfe and family of Greeley; Mr. and Mrs. Alton Covington and family, and Miss Elaine Kohl of Marion; Miss Dorothy Peterson of Keystone; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dunsmoor, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Baumgartner and sons, Mrs. Carrie Dunsmoor and the honored guest, all of Strawberry Point.
