Harrington - Knoebel marriage 1927

The wedding certificate for my grandmother, Ruth Enders nee Knoebel, to her second husband George Harrington. It is a Minnesota wedding certificate but George was living in Clayton Co. at the time and Ruth was born and lived many years pior to this in Clayton Co. After the wedding they returned to Marquette and for many years managed the Burke Hotel.

I hereby certify that on the fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven at Winona in said County,
I the undersigned, a Judge of Probate in & for Winona County,
did join in the holy bonds of Matrimony, according to the laws of this State,

George V. Harrington
of the County of Clayton, State of Iowa, and
Ruth Knobel
of the County of La Crosse, State of Wisconsin
