THE STATE OF IOWA, Delaware County, ss:
I, Orlando Sevey do solemnly swear that I am acquainted with Samuel Woodridge, of Edgewood, Clayton County, Iowa, and that he is at least 21 years of age; and that I am acquainted with Anna Tompkins of Strawberry Point, Clayton County, Iowa, that she is at least 21 years of age, that neither party is married at the present time; that both parties are legally competent to enter
into the marriage contract; that I believe there are no legal objections to their marriage, and that I am a disinterested witness in this application for license. O. SeveySubscribed an sworn to before me, this 11th day of September A. D. 1889. Abner Dunham, Deputy Clerk of the Court.
