Married at Rockford, Illinois
On last Saturday, April 10, 1920 at the Lutheran Parsonage at Rockford, Illinois, occurred the marriage of Miss Rose Tieke, of Guttenberg and Mr. Burnell L. Newhouse of Janesville, Wis. in the presence of near relatives. The bride grew to young woman hood in Guttenberg, making her home with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Beerman. She is a young lady who is loved by all who knew her and will make a loving wife for the young man of her choice. She attended school here and is highly qualified in every respect to preside over a home of her own. Her pleasing personality has won for her a large circle of friends. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. P.T. Newhouse, of Spring Grove, Minn. He is a stranger to us, but what we have been able to learn about him, he is an ambitious and trustworthy young man of most excellent habits, who is held in high regard by all who know him and who is well worthy of his chosen bride. The happy young couple will reside at Janesville, Wis., where the groom has a position with the Samson Tractor Company and their numerous friends wish them an abundance of happiness and prosperity on their journey through life, as they are both most worthy young people.
