At the Catholic church, Elkader, on Tuesday, July 1st, 1890, occurred the marriage of James Curtis, of Maurice, Iowa, to Miss Sue Cain, of Elkader, Iowa. Rev. Father Reilly officiated. The bride is a daughter of Patrick Cain, of this township. The groom is a former Clayton county boy, but is now a prosperous hardware merchant of Maurice. The couple will make Maurice their home.
