THE STATE OF IOWA, Delaware County, ss:
I, George F. Rulon do solemnly swear that I am acquainted with John J. Rulon, of Clayton County,Iowa, and that he is at least 21 years of age; and that I am acquainted with Clara J. Ellis of Delaware County that she is at least 18 years of age... Subscribed an sworn to before me, this 20th day of Sept A. D. 1886. H. C. Jackson, Clerk of the Court.

License Issued for the Marriage of John J. Rulon and Clara J. Ellis on the testimony of George F. Rulon.

CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE.
To The Circuit Court of Delaware County:
This certifies, That on the 23rd day of Sept A.D. 1886, at Greeley in said county of Delaware, according to laws and by authority, I duly Joined in Marriage John J. Rulon and Miss Clara J. Ellis.

Given under my hand, the 23rd day of Sept A. D. 1886 ... Rev. E. L. McManus.

Returned and filed on the 6th day of Nov. A. D. 1886.
