THE STATE OF IOWA, Delaware County, ss:
Subscribed an sworn to before me, this 28 day of December A. D. 1885. H. C. Jackson, Clerk of the Court.

License Issued for the Marriage of John Faust and Ellen Welch on the testimony of Elias Faust father of Gent & consent of ladys mother.

CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE.
To The Circuit Court of Delaware County:
This certifies, That on the 29th day of December A.D. 1885, at Strawberry Point in said Clayton county, according to laws and by authority, I duly Joined in Marriage John Faust and Ellen Welch.

Given under my hand, the 29th day of December A. D. 1885 ... Thomas Rowes, Pastor.
