Clayton County, IA Willliam P. YOUNG b. 4 Dec. 1852-d. 8 June 1939 Scottsbluff, NE. Married Mary SCHUMACHER 20 DEC 1879 IN CLAYTON CO. Moved with bride to Le Mars, IA in 1880 >1884 Cedar Valley (4 mi. S.W. Gering) > 1885 settled in western NE >1902 Scottsbluff, NE. Retired in 1910 and went to FL in 1912, but returned to Scottsbluff in 1932 Died 8 June 1939 in Scottsbluff, NE. Daughter Marilyn YOUNG SHACKELFORD of Libertyville, ILL and sisters Wilmina R. YOUNG BROWN of Scottsbluff and Florence YOUNG GAINES of St. Louis
