Mary Deming Hamlin, d/o Jabez Hamlin, born Lee, N.Y., Mar. 4, 1818; married Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 3, 1836, Addison, son of Daniel and Rebecca (Turner) McConkey, born Salem, Ohio, cabinet maker.
She removed with her parents to Waterford, Ohio, 1818; to Cuyahoga Falls, 1826, where they continued to reside until 1854; removed to Oberlin, Ohio; thence to Clayton Co. Iowa.
After the death of her husband, about 1867, she ceased housekeeping and resided with her children in Boston, Mass; Jefferson, Ohio; Galesburg, Mich.; and Los Angeles, Cal., until her death in 1894.
