William Becker
Representative from Clayton county, was born at Elkader in Clayton county, Iowa, March 26, 1874. His parents were born in Germany. Graduated from the Elkader High School in 1890, attended the University of Iowa, and became a registered pharmacist in 1891. Has been engaged in the drug business at Elkader, Iowa, continuously since 1892. Served as a member of the school board for ten years. Married Millie Schmidt in 1899. To them was born a daughter in 1907. Elected representative in 1914. A republican in politics.
