Death of Mrs. Ellen M. Davis

Mrs. Ellen M. Davis, widow of W.C. Davis, passed away last Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.J. Webb, in Garfield township, at the age of sixty-nine. She had been in failing health for a number of years. Mrs. Davis is a pioneer resident and is widely known throughout the county. She is the mother of R.S. Davis, cashier of the Citizens Savings Bank at Webb. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and the remains were brought to this city and interred in Riverside cemetery.
