John C. Barry died at his home in Spencer Wednesday morning from cancer of the stomach and liver. He has been severely afflicted and gradually failing for over a year, and death was a relief from suffering.

He had been a resident of Clay county for about 23 years and was in his 60th year of age. He was buried today. He leaves a wife and seven brothers and sisters as follows: Edgar Barry, Edwin Barry, of O'Brien county, Mrs. S. Mack, Mrs. Dell Miner, Mrs. Geo. Diggins, Mrs. A. Albee and Mrs. W. E. Munger of Clay township.

Interment in Trimello cemetery.
