Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Rhode, Stub Fifth Street, who died Christmas day at her home were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at Cobb’s Funeral home. Rev. Forrest L. Richeson, Pastor of the Church of Christ, officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery
Anna Waltman Rhode was born in Germany, September 10, 1859, and died at the age of 78 years, three months and 15 days.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Rhode, who died in November, 1935.
For the past two years she has made her home in Spencer
Surviving are one son, Henry of Spencer and one daughter, Mrs. Dora Lapel of Denison, two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hansen and Mrs. Claus Grage and three brothers, Henry, Adolph and Peter Waltman
