Funeral services for Albert Anthony Wieben, 75, Everly, will be held Friday at the Everly United Methodist Church. The Rev. Allen Wiese will officiate at the 2 p.m. service and burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly
Honorary bearers will be Eldo Scharnberg, Vernon Ihnen, Bert Brock, Fred Wilken, Art Moeller and Carl Kuehl
Wieben died June 28 in Gluckstadt, West Germany.
A memorial service was held June 29 at the Werner Bockwoldt Tischlermeister Funeral Home, Gluckstadt, West Germany
The son of John and Katie (Steffens) Wieben, he was born January 25, 1911 in Waterford Township near Everly. He went to the country schools and married Clara (Pettit) LeClair on August 5, 1952 in Flandreau, South Dakota
They lived in Everly, where he farmed until 1973. Wieben was a member of the Everly United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Wieben, Everly; two sons, Thomas LeClair, Everly and Larry LeClair, Tucson, Arizona; one daughter, Jacquelyn Bailey, Everly; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and three brothers, Herman Wieben, Reinbeck, Fred Wieben, Hartley and Louie Wieben, Royal
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Henry Steffens and John H. Wieben; and two grandchildren
The Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of the arrangements
