Donald Eugene Marble, the son of Robert and Pearl Perkins Marble was born September 30, 1956, in Spencer, Iowa. His early years were spent in the communities of Everly and Spencer, where he received his early education. While in high school, he was active in both track and football.
Donald married Kim Glasslee on December 28, 1985 in Spencer. Throughout their marriage they have made their home in Royal.
Donald worked for Spencer Packing Company for a number of years before joining Beef Specialists of Iowa in Hartley. It was there he worked for the past 12 years.
Donald died October 5, 1994 at the Marian Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa, at the age of 38, the result of an automobile accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donald is survived by his wife, Kim of Royal; two children, Christina and Christopher living at home; 5 sisters: Doris Bliek of Carter Lake, Iowa, Donna Paulton of Spencer, Bobbi Beck of Royal, Beverly Sanders of Des Moines and Nancy Trierweiler of Greenville, Iowa: other relatives and many friends.
