Services for Albert Chris Jaeger, 94 of Royal will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Royal. The Rev. Theodore A. Letzring will officiate
Casket bearers will be Glen Roghair, Bill Roghair, Floyd Swanson, Stanley Myhre, Tay Freeburg and Paul Schafer. Honorary casket bearers will be Frank Huss, Art Toft, Jack Ihry and Johnny Swanson
Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly
The Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements
Mr. Jaeger died Friday, September 21, at the Milford Care Center in Milford
He was born April 8, 1896, on s farm near Sutherland to Carl and Annie (Claussen) Jaeger. He was raised in the Royal area and received his early education in the Talmadge School in Clay Township. Following his schooling, he worked in a nursery in Colton, South Dakota before moving to Royal
ON March 11, 1937, he married Anna Hartmann in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Royal area and it was there they continued to live their lives.
Mr. Jaeger was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a gardener
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Jaeger is survived by his wife; one sister, Dora Swarzenbach of Humboldt; and two brothers and their wives, Chris and Alberta and Louis and Leona, all of Spencer
