Funeral services for Meta Bertha Frydenborg, 90, of Everly will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Hope Lutheran Church, Everly. The Rev. Roger Hanson will officiate at the service
Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly
Casket Bearers will be Ervin Ott, Bob Scharnberg, Allen Ott, Clarence Scharnberg, Dale Scharnberg and Bob Nelsen
The Warner Funeral Home, Spencer is in charge of the service arrangements
Mrs. Frydenborg died Thursday at Longhouse Residence, Spencer.
The daughter of Charles and Lizzie (Kiebach) Scharnberg. Mrs. Frydenborg was born September 16, 1896 in Everly. After graduating from high school, she received her teacher's certificate from Iowa State Teacher's College. She returned to the Everly area, where she taught in the country schools.
She married Henry Peter Frydenborg on March 16, 1915 in Spencer. They lived in Everly where they operated the Frydenborg General Store for many years
Mrs. Frydenborg was a longtime member of the Hope Lutheran Church, Everly, past matron of the Eastern Star and Treasurer of the United Farmers Telephone Company for 25 years
A resident of Northshire for the past three years, Mrs. Frydenborg had recently moved to Longhouse
She was preceded in death by her husband on October 1, 1972, seven brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a sister, Etta Thiessen of Everly
