Services for Pearl Fear, 84, of Everly were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Everly. The Rev. Gary Bird officiated and burial was at the Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly
She died October 26 at her home
Bearers were Darrell Walton, Ray Schukneckt, Clarence Morgan, Bob Cuttell, Jack Harms and Ed Monnahan
Fear was born February 8, 1895, in Woodbury County, the daughter of Jay and Mary (Limbeck) Yates. She received her education in Woodbury County.
She married William Ernest Fear on February 11, 1914 in Bronson. They lived in Woodbury County until moving to Everly in 1921.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church
Survivors include two sons, Ralph and Clifford of Everly; eight daughters, Alice Wimmer of Ocheyedan, Laura Malenke of Worthington, Minnesota, Elsie Spletter of Bend, Oregon, Doris O'Hara of Spencer, Ester Reese of Peterson, Margaret Shaver of Rialto, California, Lois Brossart of Escondido, California, Shirley Ruby of Worthington, Minnesota; one brother, George Yates of Sioux City; one sister, Hazel Abbott of Sioux City
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 20, 1970; three sons, William, Henry and LuVern; four sisters and three brothers
The Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
