Rites Friday for Mrs. Peter Nath, Everly

Lone Tree Township Woman Dies on Tuesday

EVERLY: Mrs. Peter Nath, 46 lifelong resident of Lone Tree Township, died Tuesday, April 28, at 11 p. m. at her home five miles southwest of Everly. Death was caused by heart disease.

Although Mrs. Nath has been afflicted with a weak heart for two years. Her death came unexpectedly. She had spent until 9:30 in the evening conversing with friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the home, and interment will be in Lone Tree cemetery.

Ida Koochert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Koechert, was born January 14, 1890, at a farm 3,1/2 miles southwest of Everly, now occupied by her brother, Albert Koechert.

At an early age her mother died, and she became housekeeper for the family, a position which she willingly and capably filled.

She was married February 12, 1915, to Peter Nath, also of Lone Tree township. To them were born four children, Anna, 20, Elmer, 15, Alma, 12, and Velma, 3, all living at home.

Besides Mr. Nath and children, there survive two brothers, Albert of Lone Tree township and Herman of Chicago. Her father died eight years ago.

Mrs. Nath will long be remembered in the community and home circles where she had endeared herself through unselfish devotion to friends and her family
