Funeral services for Mrs. Brady Lawson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, were held from the Lutheran church in Linn Grove Monday afternoon, March 7. The services were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. K. G. Hatlen of Sioux Rapids and the remains
were laid to rest in the family burial plot in the Barnes township cemetery in Linn Grove.
Mrs. Lawson died in a hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, following a long illness from complications arising from a stroke which she suffered several months ago.
She was about 70 years old at the time of her death.
Mr. Lawson died about six years ago while they were residents of Linn Grove. Mrs. Lawson had made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Hesla, for many years and went with them to Sioux Falls when the Hesla's left Linn Grove about three years
ago. She lived in this vicinity during her early youth and childhood, being a daughter of the late Ole Brekke and a sister of Mrs. J. S. Johnson who preceded her in death three weeks ago. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Nora Hesla, she is survived by two sisters and a large
number of nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Lawson was. a life-long member of the Lutheran faith and was a zealous and diligent member of the Linn Grove congregation during her late residence here.
