Michael M. Rohan, 6, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Sanford Childrens Hospital, Sioux Falls. He was born December 26, 2005 in Spencer, IA to Kevin and Susan (Johnson) Rohan. His family moved to Brookings, SD and returned to Spencer in December 2007. Michael attended Johnson Elementary where he had just completed kindergarten. He liked playing ball, soccer, riding his bike, reading, playing games, theater and telling jokes. Michael was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Michael passed away from an accident at the Spencer Municipal pool.

Michael is survived by his parents, Kevin and Susan and his sister Lily (4), grandparents, Lawrence and Diane Johnson, Flandreau, SD, Miles and Neila Rohan, Everly, IA; great-grandmother, Phyllis Auen, Denison, IA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, 2012, 1:30 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, rural Flandreau. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau. Arrangements by Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, and Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, IA.
