July 19, 1992Lyle Jennie Panska, 81, of rural Spencer, died Sunday, July 19 at her home
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at the United Penecostal Church with the Rev. Dale Hodges and the Rev. Ivor Reuter II, officiating
Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Spencer

Lyle Jennie Panska, the daughter of Charles and Mabel Bevard Wood, was born May 10, 1911 in Silver Lake Township, Palo Alto County. She received her early education in Ayrshire and later graduated from Spencer High School. Following her graduation, she attended Tulsa Bible School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was one of the telephone operators at the time of the Spencer Fire in 1931.
On July 12, 1946, she married Ordean Panska in Arnolds Park. Following their marriage, they farmed west of Spencer until 1957, when they moved to Worthington, Minnesota and then to McMinnville, Oregon. In 1960, they moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where Mr. Panska died in 1962. Mrs. Panska moved back to her farm home near Spencer in 1971, where she lived until her death.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Daughters of Ceres, a neighborhood club.
Mrs. Panska was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by one son and his wife, J.C. and Ramona Panska of rural Spencer and one grandson
