Thursday morning this community was shocked to hear of the death of little Fern Anders, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Anders.

While it was generally known that the little girl was very ill, yet everyone thought that "while there was life there was hope" and it did not seem possible that she would not do well.

Two doctors were in attendance, a nurse was sent for and all that human hands could do was done bit to avail and on Thursday morning about 1 o'clock she was taken where she would know nor more pain and suffering.

Funeral services were held at the Anders home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in the Fanny Fern Cemetery.

The sympathy of all goes to the grieving ones in this their great sorrow.
