A funeral service for Floyd Fitsimmons, 77, of Webb will be held today, September 15, 2001 at the Warner Funeral Home Chapel in Spencer. Dean Maiden will lead the 10:30 a.m. service

Mr. Fitsimmons died at the Spencer Hospital on September 12, 2001

Casket Bearers; Alan Smith Elwood Garton, Mike Mortenson, Maynard Patten, Robert Rust, Jeff Madson

Burial will be at North Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Spencer

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements

Floyd Charles Fitsimmons, the son of Charles E. and Otelia E. Gibbs Fitsimmons, was born February 13, 1924 near Earlville. He moved with his family to the Webb area in 1930 and attended the Garfield Consolidated School. He graduated from Garfield Webb High School and following graduation, he attended business school in Chillicothe, Missouri

On November 8, 1946, he married Naomi Mae Hotchkiss in Marathon. They established their home on family farm near Webb. He was a member of the Farm Bureau

Mr. Fitsimmons was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, one daughter and twin brothers

He is survived by his sister, Pearl Madson of Webb; one brother, Bill Fitsimmons of Bellevue, Nebraska; two sisters in law, Lorraine Fitsimmons of Euless, Texas and Betty Fitsimmons of San Diego, California; other relatives and friends
