Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer with the Revs. Walter Quandt and Michael Kane officiating
Casket Bearers; Marvin Hoppe, Willis Gebert, Rodney Meyer, Charles Lange
Burial will be North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer
Warner Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of arrangements
Luella Sophie Fiddelke, daughter of Herman and Christina Kruse Hoppe, was born April 3, 1915 in Calumet. Her childhood years were spent in the Calumet Community, where she received her early education and graduated from high school
She married Herbert E. Fiddelke on April 10, 1934 in Germantown. Following their marriage, the couple farmed near Paullina for a number of years. In 1950, they moved to a farm west of Spencer, where they made their home until 1969. At the time, they moved into Spencer, where Mrs. Fiddelke has since made her home
She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. She had also been active in the Ladies Aid, the Guild and Senior Circle. She served as a volunteer at St. Luke Lutheran Home
Mrs. Fiddelke was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and two sisters
She is survived by one son, Richard and his wife, Lola of West Des Moines; one sister Edna Hinz and her husband, John of Paullina; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren
