February 3, 1979Services for Paul Gene Ferguson, 55, of rural Terril were held February 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Terril. The Rev. Lloyd Fitch, the Rev. Warren Paige and the Rev. Dale Hodges officiated.
Burial was in North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer

Mr. Ferguson was born May 23, 1923, in Clay County, the son of Ernest H. and Mary E. Ferguson. He attended school in Greenville, Gillette Grove and Lake Center, graduating in 1941.
He married Marilyn Mills on December 24, 1944 at Spencer. They farmed for 32 years in Lake Township
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Terril
Survivors include his widow; his mother, Mary E. Ferguson of Terril; two sons, Kenneth J. Ferguson and Hal L. Ferguson of Dickens; a sister, Clara M. Wasteney of Auspe.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Faye Marie
