Funeral services for June Frances Dirksen were held, December 13 at 2 p.m. in the First Christian with Rev. Richard Goins officiating

Interment was made in North Lawn Cemetery

Pallbearers; George Dandy, William Imes, Jerry Johnson, Charles Swan, Lloyd Sundall, Tom Micheal

June Frances Dirksen was born June 9, 1907 at Panora, Iowa. She was the daughter of James and Carrie Belles

On September 9, 1925 she was united in marriage at Fostoria to John J. Dirksen. To that union one son, James Howard was born.

Mrs. Dirksen had been a resident of the Lake Center Community for the past 17 years. Prior to that the family had resided in Spencer

She was a member of the Christian Church of Spencer, of the Martha Cirle of the C.W.F, of the Sunset Club and the F.B.C. Club

Mrs. Dirksen passed away at her home on last Monday afternoon.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, James of Rockford, Iowa and by three sisters and one brother. They include Mrs. John Speed of Arnolds Park, Mrs. Dean Squires of Arlington, Iowa, Mrs. George Miller of Riceville, Iowa and Mr. Vern Belles of Milford, Iowa. One brother, Lester preceded her in death a number of years ago
