Funeral services for Mabel E. Erickson, 84, Spencer, were held Monday in the Warner Chapel in Spencer, with the Rev. Lee Sather officiating

Casket Bearers; Ivan Pixler, Sr., James Anderson, Virgil Prather, Ivan Pixler, Jr., Ben Grimmius, Donald Smith

Burial was in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer

Mrs. Erickson died at Spencer Municipal Hospital last Friday, September 15, 1989

She was born April 11, 1905 in Milford to George and Mary Ellen Sweet Simpson. Her childhood years were spent in Milford, where she received her early education in Milford Schools

She married Alfred Eric Erickson on November 20, 1920 in Spirit Lake. They spent the early years of their marriage in Milford, later moving to Spencer, where they made their home.

Mrs. Erickson was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son and five brothers

Mrs. Erickson is survived by two sons and their wives, Dwayne and Joan of Wenatchee, Washington and Darryl and June of Minneapolis, Minnesota; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

The Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
