July 24, 1979Services for Andrew Leo (Kelly) O'Neill, 84 of Spencer will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Clem Currans will officiate
Burial will be at the North Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. O'Neill died July 24, at the Spencer Municipal Hospital
Bearers; Mike Collins. Amos Bohnenkamp, Bert Higgins, Ted Emery, Larry McKeever, Stub Veitch
Military services will be conducted at the graveside by the Glen Pedersen Post No. 1 of the American Legion
Mr. O'Neill was born November 27, 1894 at Williams, the son of James and Mary Ellen Smith O'Neill. He received his early education at Williams and later attended Drake Unkiversity
He served with the US Army during World War I
He married Lucille Bolster on January 31, 1931 in Waterloo.
He was in the cattle buying business for many years. He later serves as a food inspector with the USDA and before retiring in 1965, he was a beer distributor in Spencer.
For the past five years he had made his home at the Milford Nursing Home
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a fifty year member of the Knights of Columbus, a 50 year member of the American Legion and a member of the Elk's Club
Survivors include his widow, Lucille; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Quinn of Coralville
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Mary Ann in 1958; tow brothers and one sister
The Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
