May 5, 2004Robert C. Clark, 81, of Peterson and Royal areas, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at the Spencer Hospital as a result of a farm accident.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, May 8 at the United Methodist Church in Royal. The Rev. Roger Maize officiates at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Burial is in North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer.
Casket Bearers; Dave Brugman, David Yungbluth, Dean Brugman, Dave Gunnerson, Harold Yungbluth, Duane Milton.
Robert C. Clark, the son of Rolla and Freda Zach Clark, was born August 3, 1922 in Clay County. He received his education in Royal and graduated from Royal High School in 1940.
On February 21, 1946, Robert married Erma Garoutte of Rural Langdon, in Omaha, Nebraska. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Royal area for many years and while living there.
Bob was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Odd Fellows and the NRA
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Erma on November 28, 1994.
Robert is survived by his son and his wife, Charles and Charlotte Clark of LeMars; one grandson, Justin; one brother, George Clark of Peterson; other relatives and friends.
