Carrie Christine Christofferson, 101, of Spencer, died Saturday, March 28 at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 31 at 2 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Revs. Tom Dettmer and Dale Hodges will officiate

Burial will be at the North Lawn Cemetery at Spencer

Casket Bearers; Stan Andersen, Joel Sorenson, Tim Thomsen, Glenn Neve, Russ Heine, Carl Abel

The daughter of Andrew and Mary Nelson Larsen, she was born January 16, 1891 in Weston. She attended country schools in that area

On January 14, 1914, she married Carl Jensen. They farmed in Pottawattamie County until 1940, when they moved to Spencer. He died on September 8, 1950

On June 28, 1959, she married Peter Christofferson. He died in 1962

Mrs. Christofferson was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer.

For the past eight years she has been a resident of St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; and infant daughter; two grandchildren; five brothers; and four sisters

Mrs. Christofferson is survived by two daughter, Ruth Wayman of Kansas City, Missouri and Helen Kraneburg of Crown Point, Missouri; five grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren

Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
