Funeral for Edmon Joseph Curry, 76, of Spencer was held Monday afternoon from Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Spencer. Father Timothy Boekelman officiated.

Burial was at North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer.

Pallbearers; Randy Quail, Gordon Quail, Mark Quail, Rick Curry, Terry Curry and Brad Coulson.

Mr. Curry died Friday, October 21 at Spencer Municipal Hospital.

He was born October 5, 1901, to John and Nettie Scheffers Curry at Pella, Iowa.

On February 7, 1920, he was married to Hilda Teresa Lang at Templeton, Iowa.

He received his education in Pella then worked for the railroad over 20 year. Before moving to Spencer in 1924, he lived in Vail, Iowa. He retired to 1962 due to ill health.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his widow, Hilda of Spencer; two sons Donald and Ronald, both of Spencer; two daughters, Mrs. John (Geneva) Quail and Violet Curry, both of Spencer; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Ralph, Earl, John, and Rueben and a sister, Jeanette Gustoff.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
