Funeral services will be July 29 for John Fred Booth, 85, of Spencer, who died July 25 at his home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. at Warner Chapel, Spencer, with the Rev. Wayne Clark officiating.

Casket Bearers; John Francis, Morris Francis, Cecil Holeman, Dave Booth, Dale Jones and Jack Mathiesen.

Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer.

Mr. Booth, the son of Marcus and Cora Davis Booth, was born September 6, 1889, in Quaspqueton.

On July 13, 1910, he married Nellie Slaughter in Emmetsburg. They moved to Spencer in 1919.

Mr. Booth was a mechanic for Minneapolis Moline and was a member of Modern Woodman of America and Fraternal Order of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle.

Survivors include his son, Delyle of Valparaiso, Indiana; two daughters, Wilma Holeman of Spencer and Mrs. Morris (Mildred) Francis of Milford; six grandchildren; a brother, Rex of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and three sisters; Geneva Damaschke of Racine, Wisconsin; Eva Dersam pf Racine; and Nadine McClelland of Peabody, Kansas.

He was precede in death by his parents; wife; a daughter, Mrs. Bill Schuck; a granddaughter, Janet Kay Schuck; three sisters and seven brothers.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer in charge of arrangements.
