1989Minnie Marie Bleeker, 92, Spencer, died at the Spencer Municipal Hospital, Sunday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer, with the Rev. Keith Kohlmeier officiating.
Casket Bearers; James H. Donovan, R. Scott Donovan, Tim Bryant, Bill Dunigan, Patrick Dunigan, Robert Dunigan and E. Gary Donovan.
Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer.
Mrs. Bleeker was born June 8, 1897, to Carl and Minnie Maria Schueneman Zishka at home in Summit Township near Spencer. She was baptized July 8, 1897 at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer and confirmed April 9, 1911, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, where she also attended grade school. She attended high school at Spencer.
She married Harry Bleeker at her parent's home in Fostoria on November 27, 1919. Mrs. Bleeker lived all of her adult life in the Spencer area.
She was a member of First English Lutheran Church and worked for many years at Spurgeon's in Spencer, retiring in 1962.
For the past four years, Mrs. Bleeker has been a resident of St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, three brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Bleeker is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Vergene and Edward Donovan, Spirit Lake, and Lois and Jim Dunigan, Emmetsburg; 11 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and one sister, Reka Quee, Afton.
Baumgarten Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
