Services for Ida C. Brady, 89, of Spencer, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. Pastor Ronald E. Meyer will officiate.

Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer.

Casket Bearers; Henry Hintz, Curtis Rottunda, Ralph Mifflin, Monte Milton, Milan Milton, Eugene Cullen, Verle Milton and Gene Powell.

Mrs. Brady, the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Kappleman) Liechty, was born September 12, 1891 in Slater and received her early education in Calhoun County.

She married Samuel Dunaway in May, 1912 and they moved to Dickinson County, where they farmed. Her first husband died in January, 1932

She then moved to Des Moines, where she worked at the Methodist hospital for several years.

While working in Des Moines, she married William Brady. After his death, she retired in Spencer in 1955.

Mrs. Brady had lived at the St. Luke Lutheran Home since November, 1980.

She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.

She died Wednesday at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her two husbands, two sisters and four brothers

Survivors include two daughters, Bernadine Cushman of Spencer and Mildred Rottunda of Terril; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
