Funeral services for Mrs. Millie Lydia Barton, 93, of Spencer will be Thursday, November 20 at 11 a.m. at the Warner Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Clark will officiate

Burial will be in the North Lawn Cemetery

Mrs. Barton died Monday, November 17 at the Longhouse Residence.

Bearers; Jim Carey, Carl Olson, Paul Van Norman, Walter Dettman, Harold Heins and Harold Bang

Mrs. Barton was born August 3, 1881 in Bluffton, Minnesota, the daughter of David and Mary (Webster) Howes.

She married Grover Cleveland Barton on November 24, 1904 in Forest City. She was a homemaker and former owner of Right Way Cleaners.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.

She moved to Spencer in 1921 and has made her home at Longhouse for the past 5 years

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs, Maurice (Hazel) McNally and Mrs. Ferne Lidman of Spencer; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
