Patricia Ann Krengel, the daughter of Glen Charles and Lillian Irene Burgin Goodwin, was born July 14, 1939 in Terrill, Iowa. Patricia received her early education and graduated from Spencer High School.

Pat married LaVerne Lawrence Krengel on July 2, 1961 in Jackson, MN. Following their marriage, they made their home in Spencer. Pat was employed with the Spencer Hospital.

Pat was an upbeat person who liked to stay busy. She enjoyed helping at the nursing home assisting residents while playing bingo, taking her grandchildren to the park, concerts, the Dairy Queen or shopping and was the first one to jump in and help someone in need and yet the last one to ask for help. She also loved to laugh, do crafts, baking, swimming, gardening and especially spending time with her family.

Pat passed away on July 26, 2010 at the Altoona Nursing Home at the age of 71.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Jim and Tom Goodwin; sister, Grayce Wilcox; step-mother, Viola Goodwin.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Troy and Julie Krengel, Stacey and Loren Sassman and Peggy and Kevin Teel; 6 grandchildren; two brothers and their wives: John (Jack) and Barb Goodwin and Mike and Sharon Goodwin; her sisters-in-law: Vicky Croy and husband, Dan and Carolyn Krengel; her many special nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
