February 5, 1992Funeral services for Warren Frank Bauman, 76, of Royal will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Royal with the Rev. Larry McCann officiating
Burial will be at the North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer
Casket Bearers: Lee Seaman, Larry McKeever, Rodney Steuben, Zachary Binder, Rich Bailey and Wayne Hyde
Honorary Casket Bearers: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Yungbluth, Mr. and Mrs. James Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Eninger and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kingery
Mr. Bauman died February 5 at the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Albert City
The son of John and Rachel (Martin) Bauman, he was born May 6, 1915, in Calhoun County. His childhood years were spent on the family farm north of Royal and it was in the country schools that he received his early education. After graduating from Royal High School, he began farming.
On August 19, 1941, he married Kathryn Miller at her parents home near Spencer. Throughout their marriage, they lived in the Royal community, where Mr. Bauman farmed until retiring in 1976.
In addition to farming, he sold PAG seed corn for 25 years and had received an award for outstanding sales
Mr. Bauman was a lifetime member of the Royal United Methodist Church. He had also served on the Royal School Board, was on the First Board of Directors for the Clay County Livestock Feeders, was on the executive board of the Clay County Farm Bureau and served on the Buena Vista County REC board from 1970-1977
Since July of 1989, he had been a resident of Pleasant View Nursing Home in Albert City.
Mr. Bauman was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson
He is survived by his wife; two sons and their wives; Ronald and Nancy of Pontiac, Illinois and Dennis and Susan of Lewistown, Montana; two daughters, Natalie Kay Tirevold of Albert City and Tamman Christensen and her husband, James of Spencer; nine grandchildren and one sister, Leona Fields of Royal
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
