March 9, 1999Erma Ihnen, 87, Everly, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999 at Dickinson County Hospital, Spirit Lake
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Hope Lutheran Church, Everly, with the Rev. G. Duane Baun officiating
Casket Bearers; Michael Fell, Dale Langner, Jim Sonius, Craig Tesch, Terry Thomsen and Jim Mitchell
Honorary Casket Bearers: Brian Ihnen, Jeff Ihnen, Travis Kiewiet, Bruce Ihnen and Dan Rentschler
Burial will be Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly
Erma Etta Ihnen, the daugher of Louie and Etta (Steuben) Jordan was born September 8, 1911 in Everly. She received her education in Everly graduating from Everly High School in 1930
On August 25, 1934, Erma married Vernon Ihnen in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Everly area. While living in Everly, she was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Bonnie Fell and a grandson, Mark Fell
Erma is survived by her husband, two daughters, Marlis Tesch and her husband, Robert of Everly and Lois Ihnen of Spirit Lake, a son-in-law Merlyn Fell of Everly, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
