Reuben Russell Anderson, 88, Webb, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at Longhouse Residence, Spencer

Funeral services will be Friday, June 5, at 10 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Webb, with the Rev. David Doraisingh officiating

Casket Bearers: Bill Treimer, Gary Johnson, Norm Lietz, Dean Johnson, Bob Speed and Jerry Enderton

Burial will be at North Lawn Memorial Park, Spencer

Reuben Russell Anderson, the son of Charles August and Annie Sophie (Peterson) Anderson
was born October 23, 1909 in rural Webb. His childhood years were spent in the Webb area, where he received his education at Garfield School

On February 6, 1955 he married Helen Salton in Ruthven. Following their marriage, they continued farming on the same farm that Reuben had lived on since the 1930's.

He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Webb. For 20 years, he was a trustee for Garfield Township and he also served on the Webb Bank board for over 20 years.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, his parents; three brothers and three sisters

He is survived by one son, Charles Anderson and his wife, Marilyn of Webb; one daughter, Nancy Santen and her husband, Doug of Aurora, Colorado; and two grandchildren

Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, Ia was in charge of arrangements
