1988Funeral services for Helen LaVonne Anderson, 58, Webb, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Webb with the Rev. Judy Deweber officiating
Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday, at the Spencer Municipal Hospital
Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer
Casket Bearers: Glenn Hart, Darrell Hart, Robert Speed, Gerald Hart, Delbert Williams and Dean Johnson
The daughter of William and Ida (Johnson) Salton, she was born April 19, 1930, on the family farm in Logan Township in Clay County. Her childhood years were spent in that community and it was in the Gillett Grove Schools that she received her early education. She continued to live in that cimmunity after graduating from Gillett Grove High School.
Mrs. Anderson married Rueben Anderson at the Lutheran Church in Ruthven. It was in that church that she was baptized and confirmed as a child. The couple lived in the Webb community throughtout their marriage.
She was an active community member and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the Harmony Federated Club, the Craft Club and Ladies Aid. Among her many hobbies were painting and gardening.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents and one brother
She is survived by her husband; one son, Charles William of Webb; one daughter and her husband Nancy Marie and Douglas Santen of Columbia, Mississippi; one granddaughter; three brothers; Kenneth Salton of Ruthven, Sandy Salton of Ayrshire and William Salton of Ruthven; one sister, Doris Treimer of Hartley
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
