Funeral for Lawrence Lionel (Sam) Vincent, 50 of West Helena, Arkansas formerly of Spencer was held Saturday afternoon from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. Father Gerald Lyon officiated.

Burial was at North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer

Mr. Vincent died Thursday, May 18, at West Helena.

He was born September 9, 1927 to George and Myrtle (Sargent) Vincent at North Troy, Vermont.

On March 4, 1950 he was married to Helen LaRose at North Troy, Vermont.

Mr. Vincent was a plywood plant foreman and had lived in West Helena, Arkansas the past 2 1/2 years.

Surviving his widow, Helen of West Helena; three daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Rawson of Pierson, Iowa; Mrs. Duane (Lucille) Nagel and Mrs. Elaine Schooley, both of Spencer and six grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Henry Vincent of Derby Line, Vermont and Morris Vincent of North Troy, Vermont and four sisters, Irene Puduah and Virginia Lamonda both of Newport, Vermont, Catherine Brooks of spencer and Madeline Dingman of North Troy, Vermont.
